Set up one-key capture on Mac

One-key capture sends a screenshot straight from your Mac to TradeStora. The AI reads it and the trade waits in your journal for you to check, so you never leave your chart.

Make a capture key

Open Settings > Capture keys and choose Generate key. Copy the key when it is shown: it is shown once. The same page shows your capture address.

Build the shortcut

Open the Shortcuts app and make a new shortcut with these actions, in this order:

1. Take Screenshot
2. Resize Image to a width of 2000 (pictures over 4 MB are refused)
3. Get Contents of URL with your capture address, Method POST, Request Body Form, a File field named screenshot set to the resized image, and a header Authorization with the value Bearer followed by your key

Run it once and allow it to take a screenshot when asked. That question only comes the first time.

Give it a key

In the shortcut's details choose Add Keyboard Shortcut, for example Control+Option+C. Press it on any chart.

Review what arrived

Trades sent this way are marked Unreviewed. Capture shows how many need review; choose Review in Journal, open each trade, fix anything the AI read wrong, and mark it reviewed.

Lost or leaked key?

Choose Revoke next to the key on Settings > Capture keys, confirm, and make a new one. The old key stops working at once.
